Barista-made machines
The coffee-making functionality of Sanremo machines has been developed and tested by some of the most fastidious and demanding baristas in the world. Other manufacturers often ask baristas for their views on their espresso coffee machines and to demonstrate them. But Sanremo wasn’t content with just ‘views’.
Quite simply, Sanremo Italy went out to put together a testing team like no other to feed into its machine development process. This included a world champion barista, four national champions with eight wins under their belts, the SCA’s (Speciality Coffee Association) top award-winning trainer and world barista judges and engineers.
This is the Sanremo World Academy Team (SWAT). SWAT works together to develop and scrutinize.
First, they carry out extensive lab tests before every aspect of our coffee machines is tested to the highest level in their demanding field environments. You can be confident that there is no unnecessary engineering under the lid. Every feature is there to ensure speed, quality, and consistency of the coffee drinks produced.
Community is Everything
As a coffee machine manufacturer we don’t want to be on the sidelines of the community, we want to be at the centre. We want to understand how the industry is changing from the bottom up and strive to produce products that enable baristas to make the best possible coffee.
We sponsor both the UK Coffee in Good Spirit Championships and UK Latte Art Championships to make sure we do our bit to give back and bring on young talent in the industry. We’re also proud to deliver outstanding events to bring the community together.
